Hunt Test Results for Ohio River HRC Members:

Central Kentucky HRC, Shelbyville, KY October 8-9, 2005

1. Roger Fields and Hooch earned a Finished pass.

2. "Annie," handled by Roger Fields earned a Seasoned pass!

3. Otey Brabston handled Maxx to one Finished Pass.

4. Northstar's Suprise Attack, "Tora," owned and handled by Derek Beard, picked up a pair of Started passes.

5. Ridge and Mattie, both owned and handled by Rick Jackson, earned 2 finished passes.

6. Goodtymin Former First Lady, "Reagan," owned and handled by Elaine New, earned two Started passes. This was Elaine's first time handling a dog in a hunt test. She's now HOOKED!

7. Steve Earick handled Dory, Daisy and Kate to 2 Finished passes apiece.

Southern Michigan HRC, August 27, 2005

1. Davis' Legend of the Gridiron, Owned by Bill & Chris Davis, earned his first Finished Pass. Good Job!

2. Don Smith and Chevy earned another Finished Pass.

Kankakee River HRC, August 27-28-2005

1. Carolyn Elam handled Blaze and Cinder to 2 Finished passes each.

2. Jane Earick and Daisy earned a Started pass. Jane is now ready to Apprentice Started. She's an awesome lady and will be an asset to the HRC Judges' list.

HRC International Grand Hunt, Spring 2005

Ohio River HRC was well represented at the Spring Grand, Bill Davis, Otey Brabston and Chris Valentie were there.

1. Otey and HRCH Black Diamond's Billy the Kid made it to the 5th Series.

2. Chris and HRCH Cotton Molasses earned their first Grand Pass.

Horicon Marsh HRC

1. Ashlynn Persing and Shelby earned two Started Passes. This completes Shelby's Started Hunting Retriever Title. Stay tuned for the pics of the drowning Ashlynn received.

One note: The youth are the future of HRC. Thanks to Pat for introducing Ashlynn to the doggie games.

Mississippi Flyway HRC

1. Hooch and Roger earned two Finished passes.

Central Michigan HRC

1. HR Meglyn's Silverado Slim, owned and handled by Don Smith, earned one Seasoned pass. This completes Chevy's Hunting Retriever title. Don is a new member of Ohio River HRC and we are so glad to have him on board. Chevy also recently completed his Senior Hunter title through AKC. Good Job guys!

Keystone Waterfowlers HRC

1. Sundown's Ramblin' Hillbilly, owned and handled by Otey Brabston, earned two Started pass.

2. Sundown's Golden Slippers, owned and handled by Otey Brabston, earned two Started passes.

3. HRCH Davis' Maximum Overdrive, owned by Bill and Chris Davis, handled by Bill Davis, earned two Finished passes.

4. Misty, Owned and Handled by Dominick Ritter, earned two Finished passes. This completes Misty's Hunting Retriever Championship title. I might add that this is Dominck's FIRST Hunting Retriever, and we are all VERY VERY VERY proud of his accomplishments!

West Central Ohio HRC

1. HRCH Hunter's Marsh Happy Hooch earned one Finished pass.

2. Shelby, owned and handled by Ashlynn Persing, earned one Started pass. Ashlynn is our club's favorite handler. She is 11 years old and is 100% addicted to our sport.

3. Laurie Fields handled Annie to one Started Pass

Hoosier HRC

1. Hunter's Marsh Happy Hooch earned one Finished pass.

2. Shelby and Ashlynn earned another Started ribbon.

3. Annie and Laurie Fields earned two Started passes. Annie completed her Started Hunting Retriever Title on Saturday. However, we were soooooo soaking wet from the rain all day, we didn't have the heart to drown Laurie!

Sandusky Bay HRC and Lake Erie HRC April 16-17, 2005

1. Hooch earned two Finished Passes while being handled by Roger Fields.

2. Laurie's Devil in Disguise (Annie) earned two Started passes. Annie is owned and handled by Laurie Fields. Laurie is a new handler, and is loving the game!

Ohio River HRC, Wilmington, OH April 9-10, 2005

1. Jaxon, owned and handled by Joe Black, earned 2 Started passes.

2. Diana, owned/handled by Tim Rau, earned 1 Started pass

3. Carolyn Elam handled Cinder to her Hunting Retriever Title, and also to her first Finished pass. She also earned one Finished pass with Blaze.

4. Dave Ackerman and Star completed their Hunting Retriever Title. Star is the daughter of Black Diamond's Billy the Kid, owned by Otey Brabston.

5. Dusty and J.R. each earned two Finished passes. They are owned by Mr. Bill and Miss Lianne Trick

6. Ashes, owned and handled by Derek Beard, earned one Finished pass.

7. Maxx and Billy each earned one Finished pass. Rowdy earned 2 Started ribbons. All three are owned and handled by Otey Brabston. Otey's the guy with the truck that won't run!

Tri-State HRC, Madisonville, KY March 5-6, 2005

1. Roger Fields and HRCH Hunter's Marsh Happy "Hooch" earned a Finished ribbon.

2. Dave Ackerman was sweating large caliber bullets as SHR Black Diamond's Midnight Star earned two Seasoned passes. She will hoppefully earn her HR title at our spring test. Everyone come out and watch Dave get thrown in the water!
